New England Regional Association for Language Learning Technology |
| What is NERALLT? |
NERALLT is an organization for those concerned with the use and development of language media centers. As the oldest regularly meeting language laboratory organization in the U.S., NERALLT was the inspiration for the regional structure of the International Association for Language Learning Technology (IALLT), with which it continues to be affiliated. For a brief history of our organization, see the following page. |
| Who are we? |
NERALLT's members are language teaching professionals, as well as administrators or technical support staff of language labs, ESL labs, and other centers in which technology is applied to language teaching and learning, as well as language faculty and teachers who use technology. |
| Where and When do we meet? |
We meet twice annually, once in the Fall , and once in the Spring . Frequently, through the efforts of members and their institutions, we offer hands-on workshops free for members on the day prior to the meeting. |
| What do we meet about? |
Such things as the use of video in language instruction, laboratory management, student employee concerns, digital video, copyright considerations and other current issues are among the topics the members themselves have chosen to investigate. |
| How do I become a member? | Membership dues for NERALLT are only $25.00 per year. Further information about membership and a membership form are all that stand between you and membership! |
